Greenery and Parks is one area in which Noida scores above all cities in India. Noida is considered one of the Greenest cities in India. There are many parks in Noida, u will find green gardens and parks in every sector that offer a green respite from the chaos and pollution of the city.

List of Parks & Green Spaces in Noida

Noida Authority has developed many Big Parks in Noida.  The Botanical Garden of the Republic of India is a unique garden that is home to rare plants & a cactus garden. The Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal is famous for its impressive architecture, while the Okhla Bird Sanctuary is perfect for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Biodiversity Park, Sector 91 spread over the 75-acre green area in Noida’s largest park. 

Okhla Bird Sanctuary1.Okhla Bird Sanctuary

The Okhla Bird Sanctuary is located near Okhla Barrage, on the border between Delhi and Noida. It’s an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. This oasis is a natural habitat for more than 320 species of birds, especially water birds, and around 188 species of plants. Bird watchers have a lot of fun as they can watch endangered and migratory birds. The birds found here include the White-backed Vulture, Indian Vulture, Black Tern, and Bald Eagle. If you’re lucky, you can also see mammals like the Nilgai, the black-haired hare, and the jackal. With so much greenery and beauty, the Okhla Bird Sanctuary is a must for all nature lovers. Get there early to increase your chances of bird watching.
Location: Situated near the Okhla Barrage on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border.

Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal 2. Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal 

The Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal is a 36 hectare garden in sector 95 of Noida. There are three sections in the garden; One is is Column Plaza, the second is Central Park plaza and the third is Ambedkar Plaza, which is characterized by several columns and statues of elephants. The well-kept park is a testament to the architectural beauty and has a museum that tells the story of the famous Dalit movement. It also a scenic park with a lot of greenery and a must-see visit places with your family and friends. Park has many idols of elephants along with fountains and lush green environment. On weekends is has turned out to be a picnic spot for residents of Noida.

Located: Dadri Main Rd, Sector 95, Noida near the Delhi-Noida-Delhi Flyway. & opp to Film city.

Botanical Gardens Noida3. Botanical Gardens of the Indian Republic, Sector-38

The Botanical Garden is an extensive green garden filled with a variety of plants. It has a peaceful environment in the middle of the hustle-bustle of Noida. There is a Cactus House here, its a small greenhouse that has a variety of cactus. You can learn more about the various types of common cacti found in the country.  Entry to this garden is free. Botanical Garden is also a good place to get some walk in the morning or evenings. As far as the tourist point of view It doesn’t offer much. But it has a nice view & a few beautiful flower species.

4. Biodiversity Park, Sector-914. Biodiversity Park, Sector-91

Biodiversity Park in Sector 91 spread over the 75-acre green area is Noida’s largest park. It has over 4,000 traditional trees including neem, Jamun, banyan, and mango & 20000 ornamental trees making to one of the most beautiful parks in the city. With long cycle tracks, walkways, water bodies, and an amphitheater, among other facilities is an ideal picnic spot. The cycle tracks and walkway is nearly 5km long. There are two water bodies spread over an area of two acres each and an open-air theatre for recreational events for visitors.

Ved Van Noida5. Ved Van, Sec-78

Ved Van Park in Noida is India’s first Vedic-themed park and is home to over 50,000 plants, such as banyan, kalpavriksha, and coconut, which have been mentioned in Vedic literature. Reportedly built with a budget of Rs 27 crores, the park showcases a variety of attractions including laser and sound shows, as well as wall paintings and sculptures featuring excerpts from the four Vedic literary works: Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda, and Atharva Veda.

The park is divided into seven zones, each named after renowned Vedic sages: Kashyap, Agastya, Vishvamitra, Vasishtha, Atri, Gautam, and Bharadwaj. Within the park, visitors can explore informative displays featuring holy scriptures that delve into these sages’ lives and the Vedas’ teachings. Furthermore, the park walls are adorned with vivid depictions portraying scenes from the Vedas. It is also home to a gym and an amphitheater, both powered by solar energy.  The park also features a Vedic Knowledge Centre, serving as a central hub for delving into the depths of Vedic literature. Visitors can participate in workshops and attend lectures on various subjects, including Vedic astrology, Ayurveda, and traditional Indian music.

Surajpur Wetland6.Surajpur Wetland and Natural Forest

Surajpur wetland is in the Yamuna River Basin. Its a breeding ground for waterfowl such as Spot-billed Duck, Lesser-whistling Duck, Cotton Pygmy Goose, and Comb Duck and wintering waterfowl such as Red-crested Pochard, Ferruginous Pochard, Bar-headed Goose, Greylag Goose, Common Teal, Northern Shoveler and Gadwall. Uttar Pradesh Forest Department in collaboration with WWF- India and supported by the Greater Noida  Authority, is implementing a project on the conservation planning and development of Surajpur wetland since 2010 and collectively making efforts to restore the bleak area into a lively bird sanctuary.  The wetland is a unique example of the protection and conservation of biodiversity near urban areas.

Entertainment City Noida7. Entertainment City, Sec-38

Established in 2007, the Entertainment City built over 147 acres of land is dedicated to providing widely varied forms of entertainment to people of all ages. It includes a large amusement park that has over 30 different kinds of rides, zones dedicated to different age groups of people. Water park with wave pool, thrilling go-kart, indoor kids entertainment arena, bowling, multiplex cinema, shopping, disco, pubs, and fancy dining are some of the features. 

Some of the attractions: Worlds of Wonder (WoW) Theme Park, WOW Water Park, Wonder Speedway Go-Kart track. Kidzania (an edutainment park for kids in the age group of 3-16 yrs), TGIP  Mall, Gardens Galleria Mall, Restro, Pubs & Clubs. Theme parties, birthday celebrations, and corporate gatherings are just some of the events that can be held here.

Park Noida8. Triphala Park, Sector-61

Triphala Park is located next to Gol Chakkar in Sector 61 of Noida and is a beautiful green park surrounded by tall buildings. It has a variety of trees and medicinal plants, & the park is very popular with Noida residences. Its favorites with hikers and kids. The park is divided into three sections: first is dedicated to Amla trees and the second to Harhad trees. third in the middle, there is a children’s play area with swings and a monkey ladder. It also offers hiking and jogging trails, as well as shaded areas to relax.

Rose Garden Noida9. Rose Garden, Sector-14

Rose Garden has a fascinating collection of the rarest kinds of roses from all over the world. Those who appreciate the beauty and diversity of nature, this tourist attraction is a must-visit. Located near Noida entrance & opposite sector 15A, this park is one of the series of parks running parallel to Yamuna river & Dadri road. The garden is well maintained by the Noida Authority.  The months of December and January are the best time to visit the garden

Herbal Medicinal Park, Sector-9110. Herbal Medicinal Park, Sec-91

Herbal and medicinal park in sector 91 is spread over 25-acre. Park has herbs and plants which have medicinal value for the human being. These include Tamarind, mystic baheda, Spathoriea, Junipers, Tibia, Rosemary and many more. It also has gazebo huts, an open amphitheater, pathway, food court, meditation center natural lake water bodies with lilies, and parking facility etc.

Noida Authority Green Parks in Noida 

Noida is full of Large size green areas in the form of public parks and playgrounds in almost all of the sectors. Many well maintained green/recreational areas have been developed

Meghdootam Park, Sector-50

Meghdootam park, spread over 28 acres in Sector 50, is one of the most Beautiful Parks in Noida. Park has a 1.5 km walkaway with winding greens, an amphitheater, multiple benches that provide a place to sit and enjoy the ambiance. It has various facilities like an open gym, an outdoor auditorium with a circular stage, and a nice seating arrangement.

D-Park, Sector-62

D-Park, spread over 18 acres is in Sector 62. This Beautiful serene green park also has a lake, open-air gym, and walking tracks. It’s a great place for walking, jogging, and outing place with family

Other Green Spaces

  • The recreational area along the river Yamuna, located opposite Sectors 14A, 15A, and 16A
  • The city-level green area in Sector 54
  • Golf ground located in Sector 38.
  • Sports complex in Sector 21A
  • Parks in sectors 79, 101, 104 and 150.

Noida Authority has created a large area as recreational green, which is located at different places in the city. Sector – 95, 38, 38A, 21A, 33A, 79, 101,104, 167, 151, 152 and 150. In the mater plan 2031, Recreational green areas have been proposed in other sectors also. City-level parks have been proposed in different parts of the city and green belts are proposed along the expressway and other major roads.
